As announced just before Christmas, Vincentia Golf Course will be re-opening on Wednesday 1st January for social golf with the Proshop run out of the Function Room.
Food - pies, sausage rolls and sandwiches and drinks (from a fridge) - will be available from the Function Room bar.
Opening hours for social golf will be from 7:00am to 6:00pm seven days a week. Access to the toilets will be provided and the BBQ area is available for use on request.
Competition Golf will commence from the 8th January. In the month of January, earliest start for golf comps is 7:30am.
On the 1st January the Vincentia Vets Golf will be hosting a BBQ from noon to 2pm with hamburgers and sausage sandwiches for sale.
At present, the Country Club and Country Club Vincentia website pages have not been updated with any information regarding the re-opening. As more details become available, we will share the information.
It will be fantastic to see the course back in action and we look forward to sharing a celebratory drink (or two).
Regarding de-amalgamation. This will take some time (months or longer). The process is the responsibility of SGBCC and is supported by Golf NSW, with lots to be worked out. There's lots of speculation out there in the community about the process and details – mostly just speculation and rumours to fill in the gaps.
Please wait for official or reliable information before adding to the confusion.
